Vanguard Tech is accelerating its next phase of product innovation with the appointment of Uriel Brison

as Chief Product Officer.

The appointment marks an important step in Vanguard Tech’s continued investment in data-led maritime intelligence, digital risk solutions and advanced decision-support capabilities for the global shipping market.

Uriel joins Vanguard Tech as the company continues to expand its product and service portfolio, strengthen its technology roadmap and push the boundaries of how data, AI and operational intelligence can be used to support safer, smarter maritime operations.

Uriel is a product executive and entrepreneur with more than two decades of experience building and scaling enterprise software, AI-driven platforms and digital products. He brings extensive experience across maritime trade, logistics, shipping documentation and complex enterprise workflows.

Prior to joining Vanguard Tech, Uriel served as Chief Product Officer at WaveBL, where he led the strategic expansion of the company’s offering into AI-enabled shipment document analysis and autonomous process execution.

His career has included leading product organisations, transformation programmes and new ventures from concept through to market adoption. Before moving into product leadership, Uriel worked as a software developer and systems architect, giving him a strong technical foundation as well as a deep understanding of how technology can solve complex operational challenges.

At Vanguard Tech, Uriel will lead product strategy and development as the business continues to evolve its technology platform, intelligence products and risk solutions for the maritime market. His focus will include advancing the use of AI, data and digital insight to improve risk evaluation, identify emerging threats and support more effective decision-making for shipping operators, insurers and maritime organisations.

Commenting on his appointment, Uriel said:

“Vanguard Tech operates in a space where technology can make a real difference. Maritime risk and security are complex, fast-moving areas, and I see significant potential to help mariners operate with greater confidence and support vessels in reaching their destinations safely.

The combination of maritime intelligence, risk assessment, satellite networks and operational support creates both complex challenges and exciting opportunities. I am particularly focused on how AI can improve risk evaluation, identify emerging threats and support more effective risk-mitigation decisions.

Vanguard Tech has strong potential to lead this transformation, and I am excited to join such a professional, knowledgeable and welcoming team.”

Uriel’s appointment forms part of Vanguard Tech’s wider strategy to develop cutting-edge maritime technology, strengthen its product and service portfolio, and deliver smarter, faster and more actionable insight to clients operating in an increasingly complex global risk environment.
